Before you apply for an art authentication please make sure that you have:
- if possible a verifiable provenance of your art. Without provenance it is
very difficult to obtain an attest of authenticity.
- the confirmation
that nobody submitted your art. Many requests for authentication come back
with a negative opinion because they were already archived as fake, copy
etc.
- that you are the legal owner of the art.
We refuse all
inquiries for art bought on Ebay, or similar online auctions, art without
any provenance or unverifiable provenance. We accept only exceptional
quality paintings for research.
