PIERRE VAN ROMPAEY:

Belgian painter born in Antwerp in 1921.
He was an architect until he retired in 1980.
He is painting in his own particular style,
often compared with Belgian famous surrealist like Magritte
Delvaux. The women are important in his oeuvre, describing
the life in Antwerp, an avant garde city in Belgium, where the
most important artists in the fashion world, design, architecture
movie directors, comedians are living.
He exhibited in many locations in Europe and in the USA.
